Legendary running back Earl Campbell went from Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Texas to NFL MVP in his first season with the Houston Oilers in 1979. Campbell didnt slow down, earning Offensive Player of the Year and NFL MVP in each of his first three seasons, where he amassed 45 touchdowns and over 5,000 rushing yards. Campbell was a 5x Pro Bowl selection, 3x All-Pro, 3x rushing champion on his way to a Hall of Fame career (1991 inductee).
