Jim Lefty Kaats legendary career lasted twenty-five MLB seasons with the Twins, White Sox, Phillies, Yankees and Cardinals. Jim Kaat earned a ridiculous sixteen Gold Gloves, won 283 games and was a three-time All Star. Jim Kaat has always been close to earning Hall of Fame next to his name but the Hall has eluded him. Kaat stayed busy after his playing days with broadcasting baseball games. Jim Kaat can be found signing autographs in his native Michigan, Washington and Ohio.
